The Kulur of Advertising

Agency Principal Nicholas Love recently joined the podcast RFPodlooza with Roger Chiocchi where he offered insights from his wealth of experience and discussed the Kulur Group.
During the interview, Nicholas emphasized that the Kulur Group embraces the belief that ideas are better when they compete and that the Kulur Group is a challenger brand agency that intends to disrupt the agency vertical and elevate awareness, visibility, and recognition for the power of diversity within a leadership construct. Challenger brands are essential for driving innovation and growth, irrespective of whether they are startups or market leaders. The Kulur Group recognizes that being a challenger is all about having the mindset to continuously evolve and provide solutions to industry challenges.
Due to the pandemic, remote work accelerated globally, and digital transformation became necessary for organizations to thrive. Love was asked about the pros and cons of Kulur Group operating as a virtual agency, and after addressing the typical challenge of creating team synergy through a screen, he quickly pivoted to answer that challenge.
I think being nimble and agile gives us a competitive advantage. And certainly, if we need to get into a room, we'll make it happen as well.
Love highlighted the importance of hiring the right talent, leveraging technology for efficient collaboration, and in true disruptor fashion he also challenges any client trepidation towards virtual agencies. He clearly expresses that one's ability to achieve set objectives is not limited but enhanced by the ability to use technology to connect with partners from anywhere.
Nicholas Love’s journey is unique as he started his professional career as an on-air talent within ESPN’s Digital Media Department at the beginning of the digital media boom. While at ESPN, he created exclusive content that appeared on ESPN's mobile devices, ESPN.com, and ESPN 360. Following a two-year stint, Love joined Louisiana Tech’s Women’s Basketball program, where he disrupted the college sports digital space by creating episodic content that proved to be influential in the recruitment of elite athletes.
Love's career in sports marketing, educational marketing, and agency development led him to his current role as an Agency Principal with the Kulur Group.
"I felt it was time to really fully invest myself and my talents within the Kulur Group," Love shares.
As social media continues to grow in complexity, Love emphasizes the need for expertise that reaches beyond writing. He brings to our attention the importance of using the right tools to drive efficiency especially when responding to requests for proposals.
First and foremost, I've been really pleased with what we've seen from RFPodlooza. It's playing an emerging role with us.
As the marketing world continues to evolve, Love’s perspectives on virtual agencies, higher education marketing, and the intricacies of social media are making a positive impact on his partnerships. We are grateful to Nicholas Love for sharing his expertise and insights, leaving the world with a deeper understanding of Kulur Group.
